Forward Jeong-Hyeon Lee (187-F-1999) had a very impressive game in the last round for Sono Skygunners, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 35.
The 26-year old player was the main contributor (31 points, three rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Suwon KT (#5, 20-20) 92-78. Skygunners maintains the 7th position in South Korean KBL. Sono SG is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 17-22 record. In the team's last game Lee had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Skygunners, through which he has constantly improved. Jeong-Hyeon Lee has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 19.5ppg), assists (5th best: 5.0apg) and averages impressive 53.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Justin Gutang (191-G-1997) of Seoul Samsung Thunders. Gutang had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 10 assists. Bad luck as Samsung Thunders was edged by the higher-ranked Wonju DB (#3, 25-14) 83-80. Seoul Thunders managed to keep the same 9th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 12-27 record. Gutang is well-known at Seoul Thunders and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Seoul Thunders' star - Turkish forward Kerem Kanter (208-F/C-1995). Kanter showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Kanter's great performance the Seoul Samsung Thunders lost 80-83 to the higher-ranked Wonju DB (#3, 25-14). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The chances of Samsung Thunders not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 27 games, recording just twelve victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Kanter could try to bring Seoul Thunders' a little bit higher in the standings. Kanter has individually a great season in South Korea. After 39 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.8rpg (8th best).
